Ritual

This installation made of a series of burn-carved logs of varying sizes invokes ideas of ritual, ceremony and procession found in religious and social practices throughout human history. The cyclical arrangement incites movement on the part of the viewer drawing them closer until they reach the center of the work where they become the subject of this wooded gathering.
